How to prepare your fish for printing.

If you would like to ensure that your fish is properly printed, here are a few helpful steps that will guarantee the highest quality fish print.

 

Step 1. Fresh fish is the best but not required. Frozen whole fish can be printed.

Step 2. If you just caught a fish, ice it well but do not over ice it or water-log it.

​

Step 3. Retaining moisture is essential for the best quality so wrap the tail in a wet towel/paper towel and cover it w/ a plastic bag to ensure the retention of moisture.

​

Step 4. Fold down any fins eg. dorsal, pectoral fins, etc. to make sure they do not snap or break off.

​

Step 5. Do not cut the fish or gut it.
